The Miami Heat lost 91-82 Sunday night against the Bucks in Miami. The Heat looked ugly during the game and I am not just talking about the hideous throw back jerseys they were sporting. From the field they just were not hitting shots and looked tired. The Bucks, who have struggled away from home, were the better team on the night and were able to hold off a Heat team that is beginning to look like last year all over again. The up and down play of the squad must be replaced by consistency for the Heat to make it further this year.
The Heat were led by James who led the team in all major statistical categories including points, rebounds and assist. He was good from the field and ended the night with 28 points. He also added 13 rebounds and 5 assist in the game and was doing all he could to get the team a win. The Heat failed, however, to score more then 22 points in any single quarter and only got 19 in the fourth. Perhaps it was the pink and red stripes they were wearing that were holding them down. The loss brings the Heat record to 11-5 this season.
The Bucks were simply better on the night and are getting better as of late. After losing their first 8 road games, they have won their last 2. The win brings them to 6-9 this season. The Bucks were led by Brandon Jennings who scored 23 and added 6 assist. Andrew Bogut led the team in rebounds with 8 and the Bucks won despite scoring less than 20 points in 2 of the games quarters.
