The Heat won 105- 90 on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers. The win was thanks, in large part, to a big game from Lebron James. The win brings their record to 23-7 overall this season while improving to 11-5 on the road. The win was also the third straight road game for the Heat in the past three days. This is a good sign as any contender for the championship must be able to win on the road. Even more impressive is the fact that these wins came at different road venues.
The Heat were led by Lebron James who scored 23 in the game. This led all scorers on the day and he also led the team in Assists as well. The Heat outscored the Pacers 68-39 in the first half. They scored 33 in the first followed by 35 in the second. After this, they eased up and scored just 37 points the remainder of the game including just 15 in the fourth. Regardless, it was more then enough to get the win against the Pacers.
The Pacers started the game very slow and never got up to par until the fourth quarter. There, they scored 32 points, but most of these were during garbage time as the Heat had already eased way up at this point. They were able to outscore the Heat 32-15 in the fourth. David West led the team with 17 points. The loss moves their record to 17-11 this season while reducing their home record to 7-4.
