
The Heat won 90-78 in Miami on Sunday. The win came off good performances by both Wade and Lebron. The win moves the heat to 25-7 this season while improving their home record to 13-2 on the season. The Heat did not wow the crowd with the greatest shooting performance, but were able to get enough as their defense gave up just 78 and held Howard under 20. They continue to be one the leagues best home teams and hold one the league’s best records overall.
The Heat were led by Wade in points who scored 27. Lebron got his share as well while leading in both rebounds and assists for the team. He ended the game with 11 rebounds and 8 assists, which made him just two assists away from a triple-double. The Heat did manage to at least score 20 in each quarter. The Heat gave up just 12 points in the 2nd. They outscored the Magic in every quarter but the fourth.
The Magic were led by Redick who scored just 17. Dwight Howard got 15 rebounds in the game to lead all as well. Nelson had just 4 assists, which was enough to lead all on the team. The Magic shot very poorly in the contest. Howard was held under 20 points and the team as a whole scored under twenty points in both the first and second quarter. The Magic are now 20-12 on the season while their away record falls to 8-6.
