Joey PorterJoey PorterJoey Porter, the thirty three year old,  11-year  National Football League, (NFL), veteran, formerly a player with the Miami Dolphins, and earlier with  the Pittsburgh Steelers,  presently, the  newly acquired Arizona Cardinals  linebacker,  was arrested this morning in his hometown of Bakersfield, California for  suspicion of  DUI (drunken driving) and for allegedly assaulting a police officer, and for resisting arrest.

TSN reported that Joey Porter was confronted by officers of the California Highway Patrol early this morning, Saturday, March 27th, in a fast-food parking lot (Taco Bell). According to a California Highway Patrol statement,  Joey Porter "refused to provide his driver's license and began to roll up his window when asked to leave the car. Police say that when an officer reached to unlock the door (Joey) Porter slapped the officer's hand. (Joey) Porter eventually got out and complied with orders, placing his hands behind his back. He and a passenger were arrested."

Along with his with a "cranky" right knee   Joey Porter, allegedly, has a cranky disposition, after having a few brewskeys, or what ever he allegedly consumed for a DUI charge, and he allegedly gets very cranky when someone interrupts him, when he's sitting in the parking lot of a Taco Bell.
