The Miami Dolphins need to wake up and start playing football this week as they travel to play the New York Jets at Metlife Stadium. The Dolphins (0-4) face the New York Jets (2-3) and this game will be a game to watch. The AFC East is a tough division this year with the surprisingly outstanding Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, who are both are sitting atop the division with a record of 4-1.
Miami has the 3rd fewest points in the NFL this entire season, and is playing the New York Jets, who can put up some points. Miami needs to wake up this week and start playing NFL caliber football. A win is not totally out of the question. Matt Moore is Miami’s starting quarterback this week after Chad Henne suffered a separated left shoulder last week against San Diego. The word is that Chad Henne’s injury requires season ending surgery, and that his career in Miami is over. Look for Matt Moore to either be really good this week or really terrible. The Dolphins do not have too many weapons on offense although they do have Brandon Marshall as their main receiver.
This game could be an exciting one to watch, especially with Matt Moore starting at quarterback for the Dolphins. If the Dolphins have the slightest chance to pull off an upset, it will lie in the hands of the quarterback. The Jets defense has not lived up to expectations from previous years, but maybe the defense we saw in previous years will be the same defense that shows up on the field Monday night. The Jets are 2-0 at home, and the Dolphins are hoping that a win on Monday night will jumpstart them for the remainder of the season. Do not be surprised if the Dolphins pull off a win this week, especially since everyone thinks they are done for good.
