Heat Move Closer to Finals

The Miami Heat won game two of the Eastern Conference Finals in overtime on Wednesday against the Celtics in Miami. The Game was close throughout and was anybody’s to win at the end. The Heat were able to win despite a 44- point performance by Rajon Rondo who played with an offensive mindset on the day. This is something all should watch out for as the series progresses especially since Rondo showed an ability to not only make jump shots, but do so with ease. The win puts the Heat up 2 games to 0 now as the series will now turn to Boston where a Miami win could nearly seal the deal.

The Heat were able to win Wednesday thanks to the play of Lebron who led the team with 34 points. He also provided 7 assists in the contest, which also led the team. Haslem added 11 rebounds to lead the team while hitting crucial buckets for the Heat down the stretch. Haslem also provided great help defensively on the pick and roll, which was crucial for the Miami victory. The Heat will hope to continue their winning ways in Boston as they search for the ring they have all sought out for since coming together last season.

Boston, on the other hand, will look to take a couple games at home to even the series up. They are backed up into a corner after this latest loss and can not afford to lose a game at home if they have any chance to extend the series. The Celtics got a huge game from Rondo and had an opportunity to win the game several times. They should be able to take that energy and the hometown crowd to help get the series farther, but it will not come easy
